Send a Tribute Gift of Memorial Day Flowers

Memorial Day is a day of remembering the men and women who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. Remember a fallen soldier, marine or airman with flowers for Memorial Day. The men and women that serve our country spend many months away from loved ones. Sadly, too many of them never return home to their families. Memorial Day is a time to remember them and their sacrifice. Flowers can also express comfort to those who have been left behind to carry on without them, so you can also send patriotic flowers to their loved ones.

Memorial Day is a United States federal holiday, observed on the last Monday in May. It was originally called Decoration Day, and was officially proclaimed Memorial Day by General John Logan, commander of the Grand Army of the Republic. It was first observed on 30 May 1868, when flowers were placed on the graves of Union and Confederate soldiers at Arlington National Cemetery. Now many cemeteries decorate the graves of the fallen with US flags and many towns hold Memorial Day parades to show appreciation of their service, courage and sacrifice.
